Speaking of Battlefield I wonder why they didn't just make BF2042 F2P. It's LITTERLY a study case for an originally B2P game that should go F2P. It's a multiplayer-only game that flopped (meaning it's in dire need of players), it has a skin system that could be easily monetized, it has a big brand name attached to it, it's ideal. Either I'm missing something or modern EA is fuller of the "suits that fail upwards" type of people than it's ever been in the past
