gotta remember it's the trip that counts not the destination. otherwise we'd all have to be sad all the time because reality is that everyone we like is going to die eventually. we only get sad when they're finally dying because that reminds us of that fact, but that never stopped being how it works. and you clearly love your cat so I'm sure it must have had a great life

also if we're going to worry about posting "sad" things I'd have to just quit the board altogether
