I did that with my very first cat too. I got her from one of my teachers when I was in middle school and she lived to be 18 or so; I was a grown man by then. Great kot. Very loyal and affectionate like a dog, but still exhibited that typical cat behavior most of the time, which made her more sentimental moments more special. Would own again.
