I've previously created things to maintain other people, aside from the ring which creates an indestructible qi body for them. I went by hard functionality and created one which I refer to as the blue armour, an insectoid exo-skeleton based form which emulates the human appearance and can be sent out to maintain NPCs as well. It's a way to maintain the position in society, so that important NPCs aren't killed/removed.

I had an idea now: to create an adaptive version of this, based on each person. This means it can't be projected out and multiplied, but instead works to maintain only the owner's bodily form. I'll just call this the black armour, because black contains all colors.
