Exactly. I don’t know why it’s not discussed more, maybe because the lack of info on some parts of it. What we know is that he led Marky on by saying he wanted to Marry her at one of her most manic periods ever (second to only the one she’s in right now, this was when she first started that one art server in 2019) and pretended to be her dream boyfriend by making up a whole new identity to lure her in, flew out to see her multiple times to have sex (IMO this was not consensual sex because she only had sex with him because of his lies), lied to Marky about Ken and lied to Ken about Marky, Russian starts paying Marky’s rent and holds that over her head, Russian pushes his luck and starts manipulating both of them more, Marky “cheats” on Russian with her friend in a shed on acid who was the guy who first told her nothing about the Russian guy seems legit which made her grow suspicious of him, Ken starts to learn about the situation between him and Marky and becomes suspicious too so Russian tries to gets Ken to cut off Marky so they don’t realize he’s lying to both of them, Russian starts a mission to fuck Ken next but fails because she’s not interested, Russian tries to go back to Marky but fails because Ken and Marky started talking again and realized he’s a fraud. I think it completely shattered Marky’s grip on reality for a while and has ruined her hope for a real relationship.
