It's definitely strange since she played the tough independent strong gal part for so long that it's simply weird and unnatural to see her doing something as pathetic as handing her phone over among other stuff that she'd probably allow if she does that
I've met quite a few girls that excuse that sort of behavior by saying they have nothing to hide but they always fail to see the boundaries of trust and abuse/control and thus always end up being manipulated and gaslit and with a myriad of aggravated mental illnesses

Goes for guys too, it's always the sneaky manipulative kinds the ones to check phones compulsively and
impersonate out of jealousy and insecurity masked as being protective. Idk fucked up situation all around, manic fucked up behaviors from both ends.
