Ideally ahead of time you appoint somebody the executor of your will and let them know. They're the one who will pay your last bills and see that the will is executed.
At the very least you need to tell somebody that a will exists and where it can be located (usually a copy with a solicitor or in a lock box at a bank).
If you have super you should also nominate your sister as your beneficiary. That will involve filling out a form with them.
