I love winter
like actual fucking winter with -10 degrees and 1+ meter of snow
staying at home all say, looking outside at the snow
putting wood every couple of hours in the stove so you don't freeze to death
eating half frozen food, and hot chocolate
waiting for the electricity to come back as you wonder if you'll make it till spring comes
going to sleep with 2 hoodies, 3 sweaters, a hat, and socks just to wake up in the middle of the night shaking from cold
realizing that your food just ran out and you can't get anything for the next fuck knows how many days because a snow storm is loose
no insects to buzz around
it's those little things that make you love winter
