If I can learn how to put the following enchantments on the glass armour, I'd use it.
a 50% magic regen on the chest
helmet 20% extra destruction damage
Lockpicking 25% on gauntlets
20 points extra carry load on shoes
A 50pt health ring

But enchantment is too hard to upgrade.
