Got a two hand stagger upgrade so as I do that, the companion bashes him up. Took about 20 min, at least to kill the guy who I got the armour from doing that. Accidentally turned into a werewolf because I hit the wrong button so I had to wait behind the tent and keep hiding because I couldn't use magic. And I have no armour. The whole game I've just upgraded magic and not health or stamina. Distracted him with a fire atronauch and then did the fire staggering.
Now need to get that armour enchanted.
