Heh. I haven't read about this. Not impossible. Albeit even Soviet doctors could figure if someone talks, and they don't understand it, it might be some other language than Russian (they also have Uralics in their country although not mutually intelligible they can know languages can be very different).

He died 4 years after of his return home, he was 78.
