Because not a specific board needs to be presented but the idea of imageboards. Especially the ones like this where they can create their own boards and talk about topics they are interested in without the need to censor themselves to be heard.
With time they'll wander about and look into other boards. Curiosity and some forbidden fruits and the possibility that doing that without exposing themselves to the judgement of society will do their job.
