>At around 2.20pm on Thursday 12 October 2023, the victim was walking with her husband from the train station on the Kwinana Freeway in Cockburn Central to a bus stop nearby. A woman on an e-scooter behind the couple started racially abusing the couple, saying “this country is mine, why are you black people here”. Suddenly without warning the woman punched the victim to the side of her head before riding away on her e-scooter.
