Two lemons diverged in a yellow sack,
And sorry I could not grab both
And be one NEET, long I stood
And hurled one as best I could
And there it went into the undergrowth
Then took the other, just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was harder and wanted wear;
Though as for that cat passing there
They hit really about the same,
And both the lemons equally lay
In leaves no feline had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing one had hit the cat,
I doubted if It should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere posts and shitposts hence:
Two lemons diverged in a bag, and I—
I took the one nearest by,
And that has made all the difference.
