Thorium reactors probably are one of the bestsolutions to all current energetic problems of human society. Probably their development is blocked by some governmental agencies and some oil companies (and such), very much like they were blocking the extended use of electric cars by the average citizen. Apparently, human governments want people with expensive electric bills to keep them in borderline-poverty.
