Honestly it is endlessly entertaining, and equal parts annoying, to watch intelligent people brag about being intelligent, only to prove how astoundingly stupid they are.
The goal of the exercise was not to teach the value of pi, or even simplify it ""correctly"", the exercise was simply meant to introduce the concept in a quick, and concise way.
Any addressing of the incorrectness of the constant value further proves your willing ignorance, or immutable lack of intellectual ability.
