Was thinking about Rust too, had a classmate who was learning it and really seemed to love it. He used it for his senior project too as what sounded like the back end for a web application.
Still, I've been thinking of making my own website and Go seems to be more geared towards it. They have a neat little tutorial on the website they call a tour too. Though I think Rust has something to let you test out it out too before install all the necessaries.
I'll probably try a bit of Rust too. Not looking to be a master of either, just know enough to say I can work with them.
