Probably because they finally realize they hemorrhage money otherwise, trying to compete with everyone else that just goes dual release now anyway too.
If they partnered with Sony to publish it on the PS5, Sony owns a good bit of it. Kinda like how we never got Bloodborne for PC either, thanks to that.
