Things to note about the Ukraine war in this phase - for late spring and early summer I think.
1. Russian advance in the most important operational region, Donetsk oblast. From Pokrovsk-Mirnograd area, from Siversk toward Sloviansk-Kramatorsk, and at Kostiantynivka.
2. Small Russian advances in minor directions, perhaps Zap is half-important, and at east of Kupiansk in that pocket.
3. Ukrainian recaptures chiefly in Dnipropetrovsk oblast, some in Zap. First is less important for the Russians.
4. Ukraine intensified strategic strikes, it seems sometimes they launch them from NATO countries (Baltics), since Russia pocketed record amount of dough due to the Iranian/Gulf clusterfuck the effects probably were minor.
5. Midrange strikes that effects the operational theater directly, along the land bridge north of the sea of Azov. They hit considerable amount of trucks with drones. This put pressure on the supply lines. Western "analysts" overestimate the importance ofc.
For now not sure if Russia has a way to counter effectively #4 and #5. I heard they now report how many Ukrainian drones and cruise missiles they shot down, like how Ukraine reports theirs.

Westerners try to sell it as either stalemate or AFU "turning the tide".
Reminds me to watch Col. Reisner's most recent about the very same.
