Depends entirely on the crowd. I would foremost say music you enjoy, but again depends on the people around you. Loud music perhaps. To give you an image I've been at parties where people blasted death grips and death in june, but that might not fly in your circle.

Generally people enjoy music that is not to strange for them and suited for dance. 4/4, no funny stuff.
