Something like that can take time. Directly arguing never works as they are set in there ways. If you do try to first convince them on issues that they maybe sympathetic/more open minded too you may have a chance. I saw it happen with my aunt who was a lefty most of her life but then suddenly turned into a fox news watching trump supporter because of immigration. Though if you are trying to change someone deep in a leftwing cirlejerk now it'd probably be best to avoid that, least they think your racist. You have to find one issue that you can poke a hole, then try to progress from there. Also, don't be a /pol/ack or a Trump redditor. Being aware of the flaws of your own side can go a long way.
