>It's awful how cucked everyone is on all sides of that political debate.
maybe not cucked but preventive for the life and prefer to stay silent or unconscious or not aware enough to realize. If they are brainwashed, then the complaints you see in Twitter or Facebook are its own consequence. It´s sad and scary at the same time.

>Directly arguing never works as they are set in there ways. If you do try to first convince them on issues that they maybe sympathetic/more open minded too you may have a chance. I saw it happen with my aunt who was a lefty most of her life but then suddenly turned into a fox news watching trump supporter because of immigration.
I have tried several times since 2016 and what I have achieved so far is that they understand my position. They don´t change because they have the idea of the left being representative to the working class, not what it´s doing in the 21st century. A concept of fighting for the rights of working people and that the right only looks for itself, its richness and corruption. They do admit that the left is corrupted as well but it´s like the lesser of the two evils for their perspective. They don´t complain much about the mistakes the left does wrong and yet, they point at how badly the right does it. Nothing new but at least, they tolerate different opinions and are not extreme at all nor have considered that in their lives. I guess the immigration factor is what even the far left and far right could agree on. We will see if it affects us someday.

>don't be a /pol/ack or a Trump redditor. Being aware of the flaws of your own side can go a long way.
I WAS a /pol/hack...for 4 hours and then ,back to center right in 2016 and I have remained that way. I am aware of what I say and I have learned how to avoid extreme words on certain ideas but being subtly harsh with certain concepts that could drive us into misery, especially with the immigration project they are taking.

>I guess it means your not cucked. Neither is the other anon either I guess.
it´s the expression to describe ourselves. We are not /pol/,not even close, but we are from fitting into the correct circle. I have described myself as a classical liberal (centrist for you) that tends to the right just because of the immigration. I am pretty aware of what I have to say and it´s interesting for me to have different perspectives and detecting how their visions work. I am not saying that I am an angel of tolerance, but for sure, if discussion has a level of decency, it´s necessary in order to grow and mature for both parts.

Nonetheless, I cannot stand /pol/ rhythm,it´s way too fast for my taste and I cannot control such wide range of opinions and shitposts in such a short period of time. Since 2016, I have no idea how it´s going but I learned a lot from there, both politically and personally.
Barely anything surprises me anymore in terms of politics. At some point, it doesn´t trigger me but bore me to death for seeing the same directions.
