It's a long winding conspiracy that started when some a /pol/ackk claimed that they had q clearance (Highest security clearance of the USA department of energy), hence the name q-anon or q source. Said a bunch of vague predictions and scored a couple of hits ( and a bunch of misses) so a bunch of anons started to take him seriously. He eventually moved off of /pol/ to a unlisted board on 8chan. It quickly spread through the more crazier right wing circles in my country, and now even my mother ran into on facebook and has even been billboards put up of it in a few places. There is frequent splitters and back up boards and such set up across the net and I was just joking about how endhchan was finally getting in on the meme, even if it was just a backup board.
