so, let´s spice the things up a little bit with the show discussion.

I had actually mentioned that these episodes would be really hard to judge at first, but then I found out that I had a pretty entertaining afternoon while watching them to my surprise. Not sure if that´s because of the expectations or because the season may be picking up but here it is.

So, let´s start with a mixed one: A Matter of Principals.
I actually had some struggle watching this episode at first because like Non Compete Clause, I expected this to be a shitshow as well and more or less, that´s what happened. I didn´t get really surprised by it at first save by Dolores´s magic spell to wipe out Discord´s body and her lesson at the end.

Giving this episode a 2nd watch made it really more tolerable. The biggest downside is that Discord is more of a jerk here than in Break Up Breakdown so it would have been much less confusing to see this episode first and then, Big Mac´s one. I watched it saying:yeah, Discord it´s at it again back on track, acting like a jerk.

The upside is that this actually served as a little challenge for the students and at the same time, for Dolores, not using magic by force in order to solve the things (kind of like All Bottled Up). I liked how the moral ended up with a really humble way to solve it. They have been friends before, just that Discord wanted to be part of the fun, in fact, the chaos caused was just really focused in order to challenge Twilight´s substitute.

I guess she has received her own Three´s A Crowd, where everything is set up to put you on a test. Out of the 4 episodes, this one is the least satisfying one because of my first impressions on it. The 2nd watch helped and it delivered some nice enjoyment.
