Though some still stick by Armada do to some of it's characters being seen as seen as suprior and it gradually getting better in quality as it reached the end It certainly aged better compared to CGI well, in comparison, it´s no wonder they prefer that one out of the three. Not because of a matter of taste but because of technical qualities/issues beforehand. It´s almost like comparing gen 4 to the rest. If it received a better progression in it, it would mean they cared more about the series around that time. The CGI while not outstanding, its serviceable (and doesn´t clash that much with the background, at least from what I see from the gif) but I don´t want to imagine how the other two looked.

At least, reaching a point in which deciding gen 4 over gen 5 or in reverse is a discussion of tastes and not because of greedy strategies that drive it into a subpar territory like Energon did. At least, it´d better deliver a good artstyle for the fanbase.
>It's the most stereotypically anime of the transformers, some hate it, some love it from what I've seen. then it´s a matter of the audience and expectations but I get those complaints as well. By following the same formula as any other anime, it´s no wonder it shows the same problems.
