No idea who any of them are. But the board is still up. We did however get some initial, random (and very angry) b0's from other boards like /pone/ or /clop/ etc. Telling us to drop the idea (go read it for yourself if you’d like). The anons in that thread told them to fuck of with their malice. I never said anything to them. And eventually they stopped bothering us. I was too busy at the time fixing the rules and such to really engage with them. But they never offered any kindness to me, or the anons. No mod collabs or the like.
>Same goes with my personal interactions with him at the bunker.
Hmm. Strange. I never affronted a single anon during my active, mod period time. Just like I do in real life, I always strive to reach compromises. Even the rules are fully up to be changed if anons wanted them to. So, I’m not sure what bad experiences you could’ve had with me personally. As I literally do whatever I’m recommended by the anons. The board was never “mine” as I saw it. It was always the “users” board. And I only ever enacted changes that reflected that. I’m sorry if you were ignored in some capacity.

>A very libertarian board like he wanted wouldn't survive on its own without OC or some very special thing to it, because there is so many boards that while, not 100% that, are close enough on their own.
No doubt that the big draw came from the fact that the board was so open and unrestricted. We got 1k posts in such a short timespan it was crazy. I couldn't keep up. Even the site admins came by one time, offering to help out.
It was the openness, and the early OC that pulled the big numbers for sure. But then the OC horse porn from Cinnamon Bun stopped coming. And after 2-3 weeks or so people had vanished. Saw later that many were posting in the various /zoo/ horse threads instead, when I was browsing them haha.

>Still, RIP, sad to see any place die.
Oh it’s 100% fine. Even in some of my very earliest posts on /mlp/. I stated that the place probably wasn’t going to make it. And that we should just use the new board to vent our frustrations with 4chan. Post our bans and have a little bit of fun with it. All of that and more was achieved. So I’m very glad that I took the chance/risk? to make the board. It was a short, fun and a very liberating journey for many of us I think.
