Transmission 3.00 (bb6b5a062e) is ridiculous. I told it to only download 16 GB of a torrent, then it seemingly goes off to try and recheck the whole damn thing. (See image, should have ignored everything other than the selected 16 GB of files, but it rechecked about 100 GB out of 1000 GB so far.)
