alright nvm I was making things more complicated than they needed to be (NOT MY FAULT THOUGH THESE CODE AUTISMOS NEED TO LEARN HOW TO COMMUNICATE INSTRUCTIONS IN ENGLISH) you're supposed to preface the filenames with the whole path that's all there is to it, it's not a separate argument or anything weird. it's still not using the fonts I'm pointing it at but that's probably just some compatibility issue. I wonder how limited this thing is, I don't want something that look straight out of windows 95
