90% of the thinking I do throughout the day is just trying to come up with the right responses to the prompts I'm given by people. I guess that's how it goes when you don't study or work. Granted I do some thinking when I'm here at least. A little bit. When I was in night school and had more intellectual stimuli every day I didn't feel much better about life though. I wasn't much more optimistic or anything. In hindsight, any optimism in my past would've really been something closer to naivete anyway. I think the only positive difference with the present was that I had something resembling friends then. Well, one or two friends and a handful of acquaintances. The rest of it wasn't any better than it is now
