I have been pondering on the parallels of nuclear energy suppression vs the ways they will try to suppress AI.

Nuclear energy was suppressed (via propaganda and policy making) in most countries but not all. The countries that did explore nuclear only have less pollution as an advantage, not like massively cheaper energy.

AI is not the same, AI is a massive advantage from the get to go. If they cannot suppress it globally, the countries who get it will eat the lunch of the ones who suppress it.
The only question is if countries who restrict AI use to the elites will be able to compete with the ones who let it run wild.
