I think building things, organizing the mess of metal and stone and things, is what separates men from animals, and I do mean men as women are not builders. I don't think you're supposed to be happy living in a formless pile of dirt and trash like an Indian. I know that's practically useless, but I've been chewing on that line of thought lately.
