Let's move on.
When science finds new and "creatíve" ways to exploit matter, all it does is to refine a certain kind of function. It's turning bread into pure carbs, meat into protein powder, fruit into juice, thinking the more isolated a substance is, the more beneficial it is. But the human body was made to consume a mess of different materials and has done so for 1000s of years. The "refinement" is dumb an unnecessary. All it does is to make people addicted. Cannabis leaves themselves are not very addictive either, but as soon as you start refining them, changing their composition by smoking them instead of chewing them raw, your mind and body has bad reactions to it. Addicts are driving science forward to create more and more refined and isolated substances.
As they do this, they lower the energy level, as from a perspective of occult transformation of body and mind, the richer and more diverse the matter, the better it is. The more the matter is refined and isolated however, the more it's thinned out. This creates larger particles. For each particle layer however there is positive and negative. When you refine something "good", you get refined "bad" as well.

This corresponds to social behaviours something like this:
>A person exploits the plants and animals in his area to survive, karma is created as he kills them, and he gets ill
>person above may realize this and pick up a spiritual practice to cleanse karma and leave the physical plane
>a person who isn't happy with merely taking advantage of other non-human beings for his survival, goes after his neighbour's harvest as well, creating misfortune for other people
>this person can not cleanse karma, after dying he will end up in hell
You can see where this is going?
>next is the local leader who takes advantage of people, turning them into slaves
>his karma gets huge and he may experience instant retribution in the form of rebellion against him
Let's step up
>the king who enslaves his people, building an empire and enslaves other nations
>he controls the world, but the empire rots from within and he is assassinated
... and so on, until we reach
>the space travelling people, who built a galactic federation
