What I meant is more like doing with the mind or "willing" it, which is different from thinking about something or knowing it. Doing it can also take a long time, a lot of practice and cause strain and tension mentally and energetically, and if you're advanced even physically. As far as I know you can even work out your physical body mentally without actually doing anything in the physical and it will work if your will and visualization is good enough. There's a reason they say "all is mind" and "mind over matter". I'm not saying to do everything like this all the time. But it's possible to affect some things with the mind without physical effort. Just like someone playing out their vampire persona until it becomes real. Why wouldn't I be able to complete the circle using the mind alone when it's already almost complete and keeps progressing that way? It's not like I have done physical exercises for it. That doesn't mean I don't get what you mean however. I understand that just thinking about it and knowing something won't do anything. "There is a difference between knowing the path and walking the path."

>Did you read the posts about the foxes creating a Mount Fuji-like construct on the astral
No sorry. You said once that vampires or touhous (don't really remember anymore) can wear their old body in form of a piece of jewelry as a necklace and go to the astral while having other bodies. So yeah there probably is a way. But sooner or later I'd rather get the old body completely out of the way or change it in a way that let's me mould it into whatever I desire.
>it would help you to forget about the idea of doing things "naturally, by your own power"
Well that's probably true. As long as the progress becomes internal too. I'm all for guidance and presenting the choices that's for sure. The rest everyone has to decide for themselves. I personally don't care if everyone is doing it (from looking at humans that's usually not a good sign) or if only very few people can do something. But you don't want to be too stubborn and miss out great opportunities either.
