I want to add that it's still my purpose that the Stone world is created on Earth. A revival of viking age magic with the stone circle teleportation again being in common use, and a reduction of travel by land. Ideally there'll be cities isolated with wilderness around them and connected only by teleportation and seafare.

I guess there'll also be levitating ships since the federation will have hand in it, but our culture must be maintained. Personally I prefer that most ships use the ethereal "snake drive" where the ship is propelled by aligning it to the magnetic streams of the planet, causing it to "slide" forward like a snake uses its scales. This uses no energy consumption but requires spiritual skill to drive them. It's not free energy, it's more like advanced sailing on magnetic winds.
