Here's a map of the higher Earth planes. The ancients never made it past the 3rd plane, the "daft lady" stayed on the 3rd, which is the requirement to break bloodlust. On 1st and 2nd it's still felt and will force the vampire to return.

For some reason the 4th plane only has one gate and it's in the fucking middle of the air somewhat south west of the north pole in outer Earth beyond the gate which is currently preventing degens from accessing the old lands out there.

5th gate is just to the east, but very narrow. 6th gate is in the open, can't be missed. 7th gate is very high up, like an impossible jump in Super Mario, you have to levitate up there and enter by a small shelf.

8th gate is like that portal they were not meant to enter in Sword Art Online S2, in the middle of the roof with nothing to stand on. I think that place may be a depiction of this gate.
