I created this one to deal effectively with a special situation. It appears the "attacks"

are not always deliberate organized attacks by a group. I kept wondering about this. Some are obvious directed glowie attacks, witch attacks and so on.

But how would there be entire armies of what appears as regular scum who have psi abilities?

It's because when on our path we break away from common norms, degenerative ways of thinking collectively, in normal cases this is done "in the open". Someone says or does something that strays from said social norm, and face direct negative reactions from other people. When we do this in meditation, alone, and don't act, the reaction is energetic. We will get mentally attacked by the collective subconscious hivemind of regular people. These people are like bots in a botnet. If one person strays, they attack them. If the attack fails because the person's mentality is strong, they pull back and get help. If the reinforcement was beaten down, they go into a fanatical frenzy and start amassing support, because they faced a threat to their lifestyle. In common terms this is the same as first time being told by strangers to "follow the law", and ignoring it. Then they "call the police" and when they show up, the police are killed. This will lead to a massive national response where special forces or the army are called in.

The subconscious hivemind of regular people function this way on auto. So those "massive attacks" aren't glowies as such, they're subconsvious automatic hivemind reactions from large groups of people, NPC programming beaming out mind waves.
