You transfer the magical qualities of a Minor Common magical item into another valid object. The receiving item must occupy the same magic item form (head, waist, armor, and so on) and be the same type (wand, rod, weapon, and so on) as the original item. The enchantment to be moved must be valid for the receiving item, so that you cannot transfer ranged weapon properties to melee weapons, cloth-only armor properties to half plate, and so on. Any magical effects on the receiving item are permanently dispelled and replaced with the new magical effects at the conclusion of the ritual.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot higher than first, you can affect more powerful magic items. Each spell level above first allows you to affect Minor Uncommon, Minor Rare, Minor Very Rare, Minor Legendary, Major Uncommon, Major Rare, Major Very Rare, and Major Legendary items.
