Does seem pretty strange, but not everything can go perfectly well. My old PC couldn't sleep all the time or I'd wake it up to have the CPU spike at 100% for several minutes, making it hard to even get past the password screen. Then the 970 would start creating artifacts if left on for several days at a time since I couldn't put it to sleep.
Wiiiiiiiide screen I see. Yeah might want a better card then. Though, thought you said you wouldn't get Nvidia.
Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Not really. Despite the current woes of the whole sector, I'm not too worried. I know some people.
