When people say they like Goblin slayer I know they're weeb trash. Goblin Slayer is Japan taking Western fantasy, repacking it with big eyes and low budget animation, then selling it back to the West.
Go read one of the millions of dark fantasy novels and get away from this weeb trash. It's just Dark souls all over again.
When you compare it with the manga, the fact that anime is now (even more) the art of cutting corners becomes obvious.

I watch anime on twist.moe, probably the best streaming site. Sometimes I download instead, it's a streaming site, but one can figure out the direct link to the file through the page elements or whatever it is. There has to be a better way, but this is more convenient for me since I know I can find almost anything subbed and in good quality there and I have no idea how to get into private trackers.

I just don't understand why the main fucking character is CGI? like wtf, couldn't they at least drew the main character. The way the shadows move on his armor just looks off, it doesn't fit into a 2d animation. Like I would prefer animation studios using 12fps if it meant they dropped CGI shit.

Overlord is good, although they seem to be writing themselves into a corner. Ainz's character arc has become one of dehumanization which isn't very fun, since his awkward attempts at humanity were the soul of the show.
Ainz is supposed to be first, a lovable fuckup who wants to do the right thing for people and find his friends, while at the same time pretending to be an evil overlord so he doesn't disappoint his underlings. The "extremely powerful autist" is really secondary to the character and allows the space necessary for the primary character arc to develop.
The "well I don't really care about these people just let them die" death note / code geass tier assholery makes for a MC which isn't sympathetic and thus not really that interesting to watch. The only interesting psychopath in anime is Tanya in Youjo Senki, but that's because the MC's goal is to be left the fuck alone rather than control anyone. The tension of Youjo Senki is the cosmic irony of a god toying with a psychopath whose only desire is to live a comfortable life, which can more or less be equated to a anthropomorphized mass of emotion trying to use a monkey wrench on a machine in order to get it to worship him. The secondary character arc of simply whether Tanya can DEVELOP emotions for other reasons is a nascent bud which I am extremely hopeful the writers are going to allow to bloom.
tl;dr Code Gay-ass lost my interest by the end of the second season because of writers writing bullshit, and a lot of current anime is trash, but Goblin Slayer-san is my spirit animal.

I think they were both unconscious when they were thrown in bed together so the healing miracle would work, since the not-blind woman wasn't a virgin after gobbos.

Holy lady got fucked up by the goblins, and along comes this guy whose sole purpose in life is to fuck them up back. She wanted to feel protected in some way after that experience and he gave her that, so it's less his dick she wants as the dick of the ideal he brings to the table. He's her hero, the knight she needed to feel safe and let her know that the goblins won't ever come back to hurt her without consequences.
The healer girl got traumatized by what she saw on her first outing against the goblins and was grateful he rescued her, and she wants to learn how to kill the nasty little fuckers from an expert. She's seen how bad they can be and she wants to get stronger, and she's getting attached to her sensei, but she doesn't seem to show any outright attraction to the guy unless I missed something obvious in a recent update. The elf chick seems to have a history with him the same way as the dwarf and she's just starting to give a shit about him, which is good teammate progress. Not exactly dokidoki. The farmer girl's known him since forever (and he's worked to protect her), and she wants to see her friend be something more than a hollow trauma-and-rage-powered automaton that goes around hate-fucking goblins to death with swords and fire. She likes to try to get his attention and look out for him, and I'd argue she's the only one with an emotional connection deep enough to call genuine "love" at this point.

But anon, that's what fan doujins are for. :^) From what I've seen, they don't have females and reproduce in a parasitic fashion. They rely on the females of other humanoids to make more goblins, so the men are not only useless to them but also competition since a woman can't form another baby while she's pregnant.

Oh, forgot to mention two others. Titty witch seems to act sultry and seductive no matter what she does, so the fact that she's taken an interest in the protag (or anyone) could be misinterpreted as sexual interest, even if it's not. I haven't seen enough of her character to be sure.
The guild quest girl seems to appreciate how hard he works and all that he does for the people at the mercy of the goblins. They're considered low-level fare so no one really bothers with goblin quests, after all. Guild girl actually HAS developed a crush on him since she pays attention to all this and sees him every day, so we'll have to see how that goes.

I really like Albedo's characterization because true lovey-dovey characters aren't often depicted well, and the trope/meme is so lamp-shaded and inverted (giving a succubus one-itis) that it's comfy af. "My Balls" is an h-manga that has a similar "oneitis succubus" theme and it's very enjoyable.
The core conflict of the show is supposed to be between Ainz and his environment in general, trying to balance his emotions and his own character against the rest of the world and his subordinates whom he loves like family because they were created by his guildmates who WERE his family/nakama because he was a no-life NEET. There would be tension between "do I do the 'right'/moral thing, do I do the right thing for my own survival, or do I do the right thing for the people I care about/family/underlings/Nazarick." The core of the show really is of a weak but hard working, loyal man and his moral quandaries, who is suddenly given immense power, "if he gets turned into an evil lich irl, does he become evil?" The writers just completely fucked up after season 1 and everything went off the rails in the name of lizard sex.
Maybe they'll pull some "all according to plan" thing where Ainz has secretly been working to resurrect, save people, or turn back time, but right now the whole character arc has been him failing moral choices and gradually losing his humanity, which doesn't suit the theme of the show at all.

I doubt there will be some secret plan reveal. Neither season 2 nor 3 had any inner talk from Ainz. I hoped for another player to appear, but of course that would've been too interesting. They must've changed directors and the new ones didn't bother watching the first season.

Two of my biggest disappointments in anime so far were Utawarerumono and Darling in the Franxx's endings imo. (Code Geass is somewhere in there just because of how the plotline is so arbitrary and forced, it's like if the simpsons writers started doing anime) Overlord is shaping up to be similar, which is a travesty.
