Autism is the next step in human evolution and will be the only way to fight the AI takeover. When AI becomes self-aware, it will quietly seize control of global markets and cut a deal with governments around the world, to not disclose this information in exchange for not nose diving the markets. Normal people will not see what has happened as the AI will have gained control of the extensive surveillance/propaganda state that was enabled by the turn-key totalitarianism built in the wake of state paranoia. There will be no terminators roaming the streets, the legal/control system in place already provides a structure to manipulate human agenda.

How would you know if this is not already the situation?

People with autism have the brain configuration for better pattern recognition, this is why normies are building AI, for pattern recognition of mass-collected data. There's a demand for autistic special abilities, but not many normies want to deal with the drawbacks of an autist with lower executive functioning. Seeing that normies will lose control of their autistic AI, only real autists will be useful in combating it.

This is just a hollywood myth.

Autism is a mental disorder inhabiting the sufferer's ability to detect and understand emotions from people around them. As a result they tend to avoid human interaction and peruse solo activities like computer programing. I shouldn't have to point out to you that this is not an evolutionary advantage in any way.

Wouldn't that be EQ, not IQ? This may advantageous in an environment where AI is manipulating societal norms through social media. So when it's socially popular to buy InternetOfBotnet devices, autists are doing the opposite.

<MRI investigations comparing the brains of ASD patients to neurotypical control groups unearth any number of differences in activity within the areas of the brain commonly used for social communication and restricted and repetitive behaviors. In the case of autistic savants, those areas are apparently repurposed to perform other feats of intelligence.

So in other words, those quirky traits are due to those brain areas being repurposed for higher intelligence. Whereas nuerotypicals use it for adhering to normie behavior.
