Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) are a group of conditions that can occur in a person who is exposed to alcohol during gestation.[1] FASDS affects 7.7 out of 1000 people globally,[9] but is highly misdiagnosed and underdiagnosed.[10]
