Discussing someone doesn't imply a longing for them. Cewl was my buddy, it could have been chill, she wanted to go full psycho mode and found out about the rule of there always being a bigger fish. Oh yeah, I could see it. When it was just me and her she was super chill for a while before getting super clingy and weird. Like it was obvious she used to be a pretty genuine and likable person at some point and not just the vapid BPDemon she became.

Tbh, I think she went from heroin to attention, and when the attention faded she got more and more desperate for it, and eventually it wasn't enough and she wanted to go back to heroin. I came along and she gave "falling in love" a chance and when I was like "Ok, no, back off please." that may have been the moment she fully relapsed.

That or it was just fun and games to her like it was for me and her idea of a joke is just baiting dudes that are dumb enough to give her a chance and taking her frustrations out on someone who just wanted to be her fwb.
