Now that you mention it, I have noticed a pattern in feminism of them thinking they're being "sinful", and then going out of their way to act as authorities on morality and virtue:
There's also the theme of applying morality to amoral things. Like how people with eating disorders categorize food as (morally) "good" or "bad", and are harsh on themselves for consuming "bad" food.
