The sad fact is, many of them have normalized being abused.
Many cases are too complex to sum with just a few words and they usually have to be judged on an individual basis.

Yes, that's exactly the case.
I know two women who used to be in servers run by pedros and incels. They got told every day they're worth nothing and their only value is how they can please men. At some point some will believe it, especially if it happens at a young age. And guess what those girls came from shitty families and had little to no online friends. One of their friends even cut names into her thighs to be allowed into that circle again.
The truth is, you don't even have to go on the internet for this to happen to you, you see that stuff in islam and other "cultures" where it happens to millions of women.

It's super easy and arrogant (or ignorant) to shrug these things off as an outsider.
