I hear this phrase a lot, but if it wouldn't make the tiniest of differences.
The fucking advice and solutions are EXACTLY the same, regardless of the relationship you have with the person.
You're the one in the wrong here because you'd act differently if it were your kin, when in reality the best thing to do is to be direct with them instead of walking on eggshells because you don't want to hurt them.

If you ever see your sister getting along with dangerous men, you better fucking tell her to stay away from them, and teach her that she shouldn't associate with men like that. That would be the right thing to do
But I suspect that you're the type who would just fight those men and say nothing to your sister.
