Having a sister or mother or daughter makes absolutely NO difference regarding the methods of prevention and solution to an abusive relationship.
What you're saying is the equivalent of "I used to think 2+2=4 until I had a sister, now I think it's 5.".
Your level of familiarity with a woman has utterly no impact on it.
