She does know the difference, the kicker is that she hates both. She's cringe enough to actually like Deleuze for christ's sake, she knows the difference. But she also used to post all kinds of anti psychiatry things and went on about how ineffective SSRIs are, how eevul mental institutions are, how diagnosis is fake and gay. I do think I remember her saying that psychoanalysis is more effective as a treatment for illness but she still opposes it? It's been so long. I think I might still have a screenshot around somewhere from when I asked her for book recs on antipsychiatry, but the only name I remember she for sure listed was Thomas Szasz.

It was funny seeing her get diagnosed with autism, freak out for a while, then suddenly dismiss all diagnosis altogether as faulty.
