There is not a single Western politician who has what it takes to get their country in order, so they go down the route of migration for labour, you think Sanae Takaichi or Georgia Meloni are tough enough to tell their people that they need to work harder? I like what Merz is saying in Germany, if the people want less migrants they need to work harder, less entitlement and more duty. Western politicians don't value long-term planning, they need immediate results for the next election cycle, migrations will result in short-term GDP growth and the demographic issues it causes is a long-term problem that the current crop of politicians won't have to deal with as their term limits will have been reached.
