Jesus said the world will know we are His disciples by our love for one another (John 13:35). Persistent bitterness, division, or refusal to pursue peace undermines the gospel itself. Paul even says in 1 Corinthians 6 that lawsuits between believers are already a defeat.

As Christians we are obligated to pursue peace.
