Although Socialism does have an advantage in production, Capitalism does outcompete in the production of luxury goods and high value added goods, including cutting edge technology. China having shifted toward Market Socialism has nearly evened out the playing field, but they still mainly rely on the mass production of cheap imitation goods and still rely on espionage for innovation. AI/Robotics should make it possible to render China irrelevant in the sector of cheap production, although not entirely. AI should be a weakness of China, due to their Centralized economy, as AI is high-tech and will require Decentralized planning and demand to progress, China will have to copy American tech in that regard.
